The life of the Christian is precious. We all see life from a different point of view; some view life from a positive way, others are more negative. The question is how Jesus sees the life of His children. Is our life something negative from Jesus' Perspective? Or does Jesus think that our lives are beautiful?
Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?" It is clear by this Bible verse that our lives are valuable to Jesus. He encourages us not to waste our time worrying about the material possessions or needs. Yes, we all need to take care of our material needs, but the Bible puts our own lives as the most important. God wants for us to appreciate His blessing.
The main thing we need to learn is to give our life the correct importance. Jesus gave his own life in the cross of Calvary to save us. Our existence is very important to God. He wants our communion with Jesus. If we focus on Spiritual things first, God will provide our material needs. Of course, we must have goals, but let's put our trust in God and pray for our decisions in life.
Matthew 10:31 "Do not fear therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows." What a beautiful verse. The meaning of this scripture is deep because if we take a look at nature, we will find out the beauty of the creations of God. The forest is beautiful, the sea, the sky, the animal kingdom. All of that has been created by God; but the most beautiful of all creation, is us.
Matthew 16:26 "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?"
You are precious before Jesus' eyes. For Him you are more important than anything else in the universe. You can live your precious life knowing that Jesus loves you. We must wake up to this reality and appreciate what Jesus did for us. The Lord wants us to live our precious Christian life trusting in him because He will take care of His children.
